Generally, when someone is sick or has a fever they are advised to keep themselves hydrated as water helps in natural elimination of toxins and bacteria that cause illness from your body.

 

Water helps in carrying oxygen to different cells of the body, which in turn is helpful in the proper functioning of the body. The recommendation is drink at least 2 litres of water daily for a healthy and fit body. Increase your water intake. Plain water is the best, but if you can’t drink 8 glasses of water in a day then try having lemon or mint water. They are both very beneficial for health.
